From candid quotes to surprise snapshots, we’re your event’s personal press team. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate bash, or milestone celebration, memories are turned into headlines that guests can read, relive, and take home.
How it Works
Discovery Call
An initial call is set up once it’s confirmed that your event is located within our service area and we are available for your dates. During this time, we learn about your event, answer any questions and generate a final quote
Content Call
Optional
Do you have specific content you’d like to include in the paper, announcements to make or people you want us focusing on? Be as involved as you’d like before the day at no extra cost.
Event Day
Two of our field reporting team members capture the heart and soul of your celebration with photos, interviews, and observations.
Design & Print
Throughout the day and late into the evening, your bespoke newspaper is being designed.
Your 20-24 page A4 newspapers are printed overnight on off-white newsprint paper and delivered the following morning for your guests to enjoy at breakfast.
Service Area
Due to the location of our printing facility and quick turn-around of our newspapers, we are only able to service the pictured area.
If your event is situated slightly outside of this area we may be able to make an exception.
Occasion News Origin Story
“The idea for Occasion News came while planning my own wedding. I wanted a next-day newspaper to hear from our guests and see what they got up to while I was off doing bride things. I couldn’t let go of it, and eventually thought, ‘Why not just make it happen?’ After a decade of working in graphic design and events management, it felt meant-to-be. Now I get to bring this one-of-a-kind service to Ireland and help others capture their wedding day, corporate events, or any special occasion in a totally unique way.”
